Our company was founded in 1991 by university lecturers and collaborators of the Ilmenau University of Technology (TUI), an internationally renowned institution of higher education. We have many years of experience in image processing, image recognition, and in the installation of image processing applications in the most various fields.

In close cooperation with the Department of Lighting Engineering of the TUI, we have developed image-resolving light- and colour-measuring techniques for being used in the laboratory as well as industrial automation processes. These measuring techniques are applied in the development and manufacture of luminous and illuminated devices such as displays, headlamps and luminaires. They have become industry standard in the automobile industry and its suppliers.

Since 1991, we have developed, in cooperation with Prof. Riemann, near-field goniophotometers for lamps and luminaires, which have been applied successfully since 1995 by lamp and LED manufacturers as well as by luminaire manufacturers all over the world.

In the field of 2-D- and 3-D-measuring engineering, the TechnoTeam company has considerably contributed to important developments in the framework of several joint research projects. Thus, we are able to include our experience in the solution of the tasks set by our customers.
